Air Export Coordinator (Office based Staines)

Key Responsibilities
Operations

  • Proactively complete all export requirements from beginning to end.
  • Report discrepancies or delays to the Client and Overseas Partner as appropriate.
  • Support and provide cover for import and export duties.

Customer Service

  • Deliver excellent customer communication at all times to ensure we are delivering the best service.
  • Go the extra mile at all times ensuring a positive outcome
  • Provide accurate quotes as requested.
  • Negotiate rates direct with airlines.
  • Work with other departments to ensure KPI's are achieved.
  • Maintain client and department SOP's.
  • Identify and report development opportunities.
  • Work within the defined client credit limit.

SKILLS:

  • Attention to detail

  • Ownership of defined clients
  • Dangerous Goods awareness

Knowledge:

  • 23 years experience in airfreight exports working with assigned clients from beginning to end.
  • Customs knowledge desirable but not essential.
  • Cargowise One preferred but not essential
