You will be responsible for leading and managing responsible business (RB) activities within the Mace consult corporate real estate (CRE) sector.

This is a leadership role working with ambitious and outcomes-focused clients and colleagues to deliver purpose-led impacts.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing service excellence and client satisfaction, delivering purposeled and measurable outcomes for clients, with a particular focus on climate change, social value, and biodiversity
  • Ensuring work winning and bid/nobid decisionmaking in collaboration with other sector and practice group stakeholders
  • Driving growth within the sector to meet commercial revenue targets aligned to the annual business plan, requiring the translation of business plan objectives into deliverable strategies, leading to a profitable and sustainable business for Mace in this sector.
  • Overseeing and having awareness of the financial performance of RB projects and services in the sector, ensuring commercial performance is in line with revenue, margin and utilisation targets.
  • Developing the industry thought leadership, hosting planned events and businesstobusiness networking forum(s) to support new business enquiries.
  • Maintaining and actively engaging in professional industrywide network.
  • Directing workforce planning and ensuring projects are suitably resourced with the necessary competencies, alongside forward planning and proactive recruitment to support sector pipeline and growth.
About you


You have knowledge of practical experience across the UK corporate real estate sector and have practical experience in environmental and social sustainability, climate change, net zero carbon and etc.

You are a confident and engaging communicator, articulate and open, and comfortable when representing the company and clients in a public forum, attending internal and external events to represent and raise the profile of Mace and the practice group.

Positive leadership, integrity and motivational skills are essential, recognising that this is an industry and discipline in which collaborative arrangements and the co-location of project teams are the preferred way of working.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams.

You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
