We are open to both an experienced estimator or someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn, to join us as a trainee.

Scotframe is one of 30 Saint-Gobain brand's, Scotframe manufactures and supplies full timber frame housing kits for small/medium builders, developers and self-builders in the UK and is a market leader in closed panel systems used extensively for new build homes in Scotland and England.

The working hours on this role are 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday and 08:30-16:00 on a FridayWhat you will be doing: Our sites are busy places, with lots going on inside and out, and whilst the exact duties may vary here is a taster of the role.

Produce competitive quotations at given margins to sustain & grow the businessWork efficiently and accuratelyManage pipeline opportunities and approach each project in agreement with the sales team to ensure that they are prioritized, workload is managed and timescale SLA's are achievedAttend pre and post contract meetings as requiredAttend self-build and trade shows to represent the companyProvide cover for customer sales enquiries when sales team are not availableMaintain weekly record of workload and achievements What we are looking for:Experience of a fast-moving estimating departmentExperience in timber frame construction and building industry is beneficialAbility to identify and implement performance goals, prioritiesAble to manage workload and work to tight deadlinesAble to work on own or as part of a teamExperience of using Microsoft Excel & Word or estimating softwareStrong commercial awareness ideally in the timber frame industryAble to simplify technical languageIf you are to join us as a trainee the above is not essential and we will put you through a full training programme to bring you to an estimator level.
