Location - Tonbridge
Salary - £70k depending on experience
Benefits - Company Pension, 28 days annual leave including bank holidays
Full time permanent - Monday - Friday 35hrs per week
Do you have a at least 5 years' experience in a Quality Assurance Management role?
Do you have current insight and knowledge in production standards and regulations?
Must be conversant with LEAN techniques and LEAN manufacturing ideals
As Quality Manager your duties will include:
- Defining and implementing quality controls and policies for the Company
- Researching and reviewing customer feedback and using this to inform quality processes and decisions
- Ensuring that processes meet required standards
- Monitoring the ongoing performance and outputs of the quality process
- Regularly researching the marketplace and competition to keep up to date with industry developments
- Undertaking internal quality audits
- Direct staff and teams across the business to ensure quality frameworks are implemented
- Provide updates to senior managers and directors around quality issues
- Ensure that all suppliers meet the quality requirements of the company
Skills and Experience
- Ideally educated to Degree level in an engineering discipline
- Preferably a Chartered Quality Institute Professional
- Preferably Six Sigma Black Belt
- At least 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment
- At least 5 years' experience in a quality management role
- ISO9001:2015 Senior Auditor certified
- Experience of proactive management of nonconformance within both internal and external supply chain
- Experience of deploying quality tools and techniques i.e., Lean, 5S, LPMS 1 3, VSM
- Ability to display knowledge of 8D, DMAIC, FAI, A3 and other problemsolving tools
- Familiar with Project Management disciplines within the manufacturing industry
- Ability to identify and deliver change programmes in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to develop proactive reporting in order to drive and measure business improvements
