Software Engineer (.NET Core, WPF, C#) - Sheffield/Remote

We've just kicked off the search for 2 Software Developers, working fully remotely for one of our biggest customers, who've are looking at kicking off virtual interviews ASAP.

They're highly regarded within the logistics world, with multiple offices all over the UK, and I've had the pleasure of working with them for just shy of 4 years now, as they've gone from strength to strength.

Initially, you'd be focusing on their core application, which is WPF (MVVM C#) desktop based, using plenty of SQL and .NET. However, they've restructured their development teams recently, allowing them to look at different technologies, which has opened up the door to implement more web-based applications across the board – this includes moving towards .NET Core, Azure and building DevOps Pipelines to automate various processes.

You'd be joining an established team of 25 people, which means you'll have a strong network around you to help get you up to speed and bounce ideas off. There's also a huge amount of new development projects coming up, so you won't be sat around twiddling your thumbs, that's for sure.

They've always had a WFH culture too, however after seeing how effective the team was during lockdown, they've made the decision to continue working fully remotely moving forward.

For now, I can see the roles paying up to £55,000 DOE, there could be some flexibility, but not a great deal.
