- LondonOur client is a well established and growing fintech business with an international footprint.
They are keen to speak to enthusiastic and driven derivatives lawyers who are keen to work in this exciting, fast-paced and dynamic business.
Reporting to the General Counsel you will have the day-to-day responsibility for advising on legal, regulatory and governance matters within the business.
This is a great opportunity to provide high quality legal advice to key stakeholders in the UK and overseas and be pivotal to development on a global scale.
Your role will involve advising internal stakeholders on group-wide financial issues and strategy; as well as,negotiating agreements required to support the business and operational activity;contributing to the design and implementation of new products and expansion into new markets,structuring and executing strategic initiatives such as refinancings, negotiations with banking partners, fundraising, M&A activity and transfers of significant equity stakes in the larger Group companies;Whilst utilising and managing external counsel as required, you will also advise the senior management of all developments.
You will have at least 3 years post qualification experience in finance (you must have derivatives, lending or structured finance) from a leading City firm and/or the in house equivalent.
Your interest in the fintech sector and financial products will be helpful (although not essential). You will be asked to be office based in London for 4 days a week.-
