The successful Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will report into the Maintenance Manager and will be responsible for preventative and reactive maintenance on site.

Working Hours
Monday-Friday - 3 shifts

Salary:
£43,700

Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Duties and Responsibilities Include:

  • Responding to breakdowns on heavy industry machinery such as furnaces, rolling mills and overhead cranes.
  • Completing the preventative maintenance tasks to prevent future breakdowns.
  • Following Health and Safety procedures on site.
  • Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience doing both preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Previously worked in a manufacturing environment
