Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer (Telematics)
Location: Nuneaton
Flexibility: Hybrid working
Salary: Competitive based on experience

A company situated in a prominent technology park in Nuneaton is searching for a skilled Embedded Software Engineer to join their team permanently.

You will be responsible for spearheading the software development for the company's telematic product line, overseeing the software for applications such as fleet management, safety and security, vehicle diagnostics, among others.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing middleware using C/C++
  • Planning, designing, and resolving issues in telecommunications platforms.
  • Collaborating closely with diverse teams to establish/revise requirements for feature enhancements.
  • Mapping out new products and significant enhancements to current products, which includes contributing to new feature development, CI, and bug fixes.

Essential Skills & Background:

  • Over 4 years of practical embedded software development experience using C
  • Familiarity with IoT (WiFi, Bluetooth, GSM, Satellite, Radio) and/or telematics technology.
  • Proficiency with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
