Our client, an international engineering company based near Tibshelf, is now looking to recruit an experienced ELECTRICAL OR ELECTRICALLY BIASED MULTI-SKILLED Maintenance Technician to join their team on a PERMANENT basis.

£40k Basic Salary
£5k easily achievable with overtime

THE ROLE INVOLVES WORKING ON A 4 on 4 off SHIFT PATTERN.
6am to 6pm, and then 6pm to 6am

Excellent overtime is available

Principle Accountabilities

  • Customer Service- ensure that production area is provided with an immediate repair service to rectify any disruption to production.
  • Within the specified production section, attend to all breakdowns using fault finding techniques for all equipment and ensure minimum downtime of production equipment
  • Recommend and carry out improvements to production equipment to improve overall equipment efficiency.
  • Implement departmental Kaizen improvements
  • To ensure that all production led maintenance is carried out effectively and on time to all equipment in the section.
  • Ensure that all planned equipment maintenance is carried out effectively and on time to all equipment in the section.
  • Keep accurate up to date records of all changes and servicing to equipment
(equipment drawings, PLC programme changes, modifications to equipment)

  • Maintain and document an accurate and comprehensive system of spare parts for the section

Essential:
ONC level or equivalent qualifications in either mechanical or electrical engineering discipline.
Relevant electrical qualifications including 17th Edition.
Mechanical/Multi Skilling Maintenance Experience/Qualifications.
Experience within a volume manufacturing environment.
Experience within an automated manufacturing environment.
Computer literacy, word, excel, outlook etc.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good time management /planning skills.
Good problem analysis and problem solving skills.
Good knowledge of fault finding and diagnosis on hydraulic systems.
Good knowledge of fault finding and diagnosis on pneumatic systems.
Good knowledge of fault finding and diagnosis on electrical and electronic systems.
