Description:
The Corporate Tax Senior will be responsible for managing compliance matters for a portfolio of corporate clients, addressing their tax requirements. This role provides an opportunity to work with a well-respected accountancy firm in Nottingham, offering exceptional prospects for career advancement. The option for hybrid working makes this role accessible to candidates from nearby areas as well.
Duties of the Corporate Tax Senior:
- Liaising with the accounts team to assist in tax computations
- Conducting detailed reviews of tax computations for complex clients
- Submitting tax relief claims for technical matters like R&D and capital allowances
- Supervising junior team members
- Engaging directly with clients
- Providing comprehensive corporation tax compliance support
- Reviewing computations done by the accounts team
- Handling ad-hoc queries from both internal and external clients
- Managing client portfolios, including billing and meeting deadlines
- Conducting technical research for client discussions
- Interacting with HMRC concerning client liabilities and enquiries
- Supporting Partners and Managers in client meetings
- Participating in corporate tax planning initiatives
Requirements for the Corporate Tax Senior:
- ATT/CTA Qualification
- 2-3 years of practice experience
- Understanding of accounts
- Strong IT skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
