About the Job: IT Governance Analyst at a Leading Global Insurance Company

A fantastic opportunity awaits for an IT Governance Analyst to become part of a fast-growing IT team at a top-notch insurance company. The role involves handling various governance tasks to ensure regulatory compliance, meet auditor requirements, and maintain optimal operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct risk assessments
  • Offer project risk guidance
  • Assist project and support teams in implementing internal controls
  • Perform ad-hoc risk analysis in critical areas
  • Identify and document potential risk events, their probabilities, and impacts
  • Collect evidence for reviews of activities, processes, and services
  • Examine records for compliance and anomalies
  • Seek guidance from domain experts on specialized risks
  • Develop countermeasures and contingency plans
  • Advise on quality management and auditing

Essential Experience Required:

  • Familiarity with IT audit principles, risk evaluation, and process analysis
  • Prior exposure to IT GRC, Risk Management, or IT Audit
  • Experience with COBIT, ITIL, NIST, and Secure Control Frameworks
  • Proficiency in AuditBoard and other GRC tools
  • Established relationships with IT and business partners
  • Vendor management risk analysis expertise
  • Background in the insurance industry
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
