Ecommerce Visual Merchandiser

We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media and CRM activity to further amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created.
Requirements:
- Make it as easy as possible for the customer to locate the desired category and products across the websites to increase conversion, new customer growth and revenue
- Ensure products are both strategically and attractively merchandised across prime locations on the all the websites to maximise sales.
- Maintain visual mechanising strategy to effectively balance the priority of VM across newness, slow selling, high stocked, best selling lines
- Managing onsite search results, maximising search conversion rate by optimising product search terms to show the most commercial and relevant products, maintaining synonyms and redirects, analysing search results sort order, reviewing search user experience.
- Make data driven decisions on product placement across the websites, along with ensuring the site looks and feels visually attractive
- Ensuring biweekly product drops are merchandised across the sites to meet deadlines
- Working Closely with the merchandising team to identify and understand key categories and product to provide visual merchandising focus, identifying where on site to push sales
- Creating online look books for upcoming drops, ensuring these are replicated across all 3 websites
- Perform competitor analysis into bestpractices and opportunities in improving onsite visual merchandising
- Work closely with the Marketing team to ensure categories and products are always updated inline with the marketing calendar
- Use the customer journey tracker to understand key categories for focus and improvements, communicating this within the business to relevant teams
- Support the wider Ecommerce team with adhoc tasks
Essential Experience and Skills
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Visual merchandising experience, preferably for a clothing / footwear company
- Experience with Ecommerce platforms and thirdparty plugins
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written as you will be working with a range of colleagues and prospective employees at all levels
- Attention to detail
- Previous office experience
- A 'get stuck in' attitude
Desirable but not essential Experience and Skills
- Experience using Shopify
- Experience using Google Analytics
- Experience using Algolia
