Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Warehouse Supervisor as part of warehouse team
  • Picking & packing orders
  • Drumming down of chemicals
  • Waste acceptance & segregation
  • General warehouse responsibilities
  • Completion and verifying preprepared paperwork are correct for chemical deliveries and despatch
  • Preparing hazardous goods for safe transportation including labelling and packaging
  • Forklift truck driver operator offloading/loading road vehicles
  • Compliance with written and verbal instructions from management and internal paperwork systems and procedures.
  • Housekeeping: Keeping waste transfer station area, PPE, equipment and tools clean, tidy and stored in line with instructions, company policy and waste permit conditions.
  • Adhere to Health & Safety regulations and company policies Personal Requirements
  • Hardworking/ Strong work ethic
  • Reliable/Flexible
  • Attention to detail
  • Selfmotivated
  • Ability to work alone but also to work within a team
  • Counterbalance forklift licence (not essential as training will be provided)
