Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, you will be a part of the wider finance team and will share responsibility for the accounts payable functions of the business.

The Role:

  • Processing and reconciling vendor invoices and payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Maintaining vendor records, including contact information, payment terms, and account balances.
  • Reviewing and verifying expense reports, ensuring adherence to company policies and expense guidelines.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies or issues related to payments.
  • Preparing and distributing regular financial reports, such as aging reports and cash flow statements.
  • Assisting with monthend and yearend closing processes, including accruals, journal entries, and financial statement analysis.

The Person:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing invoices and payments.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage and maintain vendor records effectively.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and proficiency in using spreadsheets for data analysis.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Understanding of accounting principles and knowledge of accounts payable best practices.
