Scaffold Labourer

Ingleford Scaffolding has an exciting opportunity to join our growing business as a labourer.

Location:
Washington, Tyne and Wear

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a construction role
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks in a fastpaced environment
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
• Basic knowledge of scaffolding systems and construction tools in advantageous
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety regulations
• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation to job sites
• Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the loading and unloading of scaffolding materials and equipment
• Help set up scaffolding structures according to safety regulations and company standards
• Support scaffolders and other team members in the assembly and dismantling of scaffolding systems
• Ensure that scaffolding and components are properly secured and stabilized
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the storage and inventory of materials
• Follow safety procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate tasks and meet project deadlines
• Perform basic maintenance and repairs on scaffolding equipment as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and guidelines at all times.
