The role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Kantar Insights Division to lead the development and delivery of two of our largest compliance programmes, Data Protection and Healthcare.

As Data Protection Accountability Lead for Insights you will be responsible for ensuring that our Data Protection Framework is embedded across the business, working across 70+ markets and at all levels of the Insights organisation.

This is a leadership role and reports directly to Kantar's Global Head of Compliance. The position is hybrid and can be based in Warwick or London. If you are looking for a new global position within a multifaceted and fast-paced organisation, working independently and making a difference, this might be your ideal role

Key outcomes:

  • Lead the delivery of the Kantar Data Protection & Healthcare Frameworks across Insights, ensuring they are embedded in processes and systems
  • Work with the Kantar Global Head of Compliance to ensure an integrated approach to managing Privacy & Data Protection globally
  • Lead, engage, and support the network of global Data Protection Champions & Healthcare Champions networks to implement and align with the requirements of our Data Protection Programme and supporting controls
  • Provide local teams with support for queries related to Data Protection and Healthcare compliance, including project specific queries, and represent Kantar on client calls/audits
  • Build a culture of high awareness of the criticality of Healthcare, Data Protection & Privacy issues to our organisation and our stakeholders
  • Develop and deliver effective Healthcare and Data Protection training and ensure all Insights teams are appropriately trained
  • Develop and deploy effective awareness campaigns across the organisation, monitor and measure their effectiveness, and update as required
  • Conduct internal audits to measure process, awareness and integration, and to provide assurance for Kantar leadership and our clients
  • Maintain and update the Healthcare Compliance Framework with any changes in legislation and relevant Codes of Conduct
  • Represent Kantar in Compliance/Ethics committees for the Pharmaceutical Industry
Keep abreast with developments within the company, industry regulations, legislation, including liaison with relevant industry bodies where appropriate.

Capabilities:

  • Proven track record of experience in regulatory Data Protection and Healthcare compliance within the market research or consulting sector
  • Proven ability to develop and operate compliance frameworks and policies, and conduct risk assessments, internal investigations and training
  • Able to demonstrate up to date industry compliance knowledge, ability to respond effectively to developments and translate into practical business process
  • Ability to operate in a commercial manner and respond quickly and pragmatically to urgent situations
  • Ability to prioritize and resolve issues promptly and effectively
  • Outstanding influencing skills with extensive experience of operating at a senior level and managing multiple stakeholders with varying priorities in different countries/regions
  • Experience of working in a heavily matrixed organization
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks while maintaining strict attention to detail and timeliness
  • Ability to work independently and take the responsibility when the issue/opportunity arises
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and strong project management skills
