You will need to be qualified to a minimum Diploma Level 3 in Health & Social Care and have relevant experience.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Expected to take on additional responsibilities as directed by Management to assist with running the service.
- You will need to be flexible and aware that 'oncall' hours will be required to ensure sufficient staffing levels, thus enabling an efficient service.
- Assisting service users with all areas care and support which includes personal care
- Preparing meals and baking with service users
- Supporting service users on outings, social events and in the community
- Assisting with the day to day running of the home and domestic tasks
Requirements or Skills:
- Compassionate and enjoys interacting with people
- Warm and friendly disposition
- Positive attitude
- Genuine passion for providing care and support
Hours are 37hrs/week over 5 days and are worked on a rota basis and include evenings and weekends and on call duties.
