What you'll do

As Data Governance Manager– Mobile Credit Risk you will be responsible for the data underpinning Credit Risk activities across all territories:

Delivering, maintaining and expanding the Credit Risk data governance framework across Sky's UK and European territories

Perform a pivotal role between Risk team and Technology teams communicating the ambition and plans from each area to the other.

Capturing and communicating data requirements for the risk team and driving delivery of these requirements through various Sky programmes

Create, update and maintain data dictionaries regarding all data Sky ingest and uses in its Credit Risk strategies for Sky UK and EU territories

Ensure any customer and credit bureau data being used by the risk team is compliant with local and group data protection principles

Own and manage incident and escalation process for data issues, and manage the delivery of resolutions with relevant technology teams.

Ensure data governance processes are followed and maintained for all credit risk data activities. All relevant documentation is completed such as PIAs, CRoPs etc.

Provide data governance guidance to the risk team and highlight any changes to data regulations.

What you'll bring

You are an adaptable and analytical professional, with a desire to deliver results. You have:

Deep understanding of data and technology delivery and challenges

Collaborative mindset, with experience of working with multiple, varied stakeholders

Great communication skills, simplifying complex subject matter, producing and delivering clear and concise presentations

Strong attention to detail: effective verbal and written communication skills, experienced in requirements capture, delivery planning and project management

Understanding of data governance processes and practises

Strong analytical and problem-solving: bringing a creative approach to solution finding

Skills in planning and prioritisation; resilient to challenges and changing objectives

Preferred but not necessary: SQL querying language; Fraud and Credit Risk knowledge; experience in financial services and/or telecoms

Team overview

The Consumer Credit Risk team plays a central role within Sky's Consumer Group protecting customers' financial position whilst enabling Sky's commercial ambitions across UK & Europe. The UK vertical within this team is responsible for driving Risk performance across UK product lines.
