Nursing Home Manager

Location: Bedford

Salary: Up to £52,000 DOE

We are excited to be partnering with a well-established National Private Healthcare Provider in their search for a dedicated Home Manager to oversee a small Nursing Home in Bedford.

This is an excellent opportunity to join one of the rapidly expanding Private Healthcare providers in the UK. The facility is a newly constructed establishment that offers cutting-edge services in an upscale environment.

The home caters to residents with Dementia / Alzheimer's and various other Elderly care requirements, providing comprehensive round-the-clock care.

  • Nurse Qualification is preferred, although experienced non-nurse candidates with a solid background in Nursing Home Management will also be considered.

As the Home Manager, you will have overarching responsibility for the clinical, operational, and financial performance of the home. Your role will involve delivering a top-tier and cost-efficient service that meets resident needs and surpasses regulatory standards.

You will be tasked with offering effective clinical guidance, managing staff, and ensuring the care and nursing teams are adequately supported and coached.

Qualifications for Applicants:

  • NMC Registered Adult Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD) with a preference for a recognized management qualification like Diploma Level 5/The Registered Managers Award.
  • Prior experience in elderly care, particularly as a CQC Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a UK nursing home.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage finances and resources efficiently to enhance profitability without compromising care standards.
  • Skilled in leading, nurturing, and motivating both clinical and non-clinical teams.
