Southport and Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust are currently seeking an organised and motivated PT to work within the trust on long term placement contracts.
Examples of Duties and Responsibilities:
- To assess and identify the individual needs of referred patients, to clinically diagnose and implement treatment plans if appropriate in a manner that respects people's privacy, dignity and individuality
- To record and report findings appropriately following the standard procedures used by the department to maintain high levels of written/verbal communication
- To assist Clinical Therapy Manager/Team Leader in service development and the provision of a quality service
- To take responsibility for junior members of staff and delegate duties as necessary, always providing appropriate level of support
- To meet the Therapy and Community and Continued Care Service objectives.
- To cover for absence when required within the Community and Departments of Southport & Ormskirk Hospital Trust
- To take part in the On Call Respiratory Rota if applicable
- Have Diploma/Degree in Physiotherapy
- Be HCPC registered
- Have previous NHS experience
- Post qualification experience
