The SMB College Group is a highly successful FE college, formed of two merged and reputable colleges -Brooksby Melton College and Stephenson College.

An exciting opportunity has arisen at the College for a Maternity Cover role as a Support and Inclusion Supervisor to join the team based at Brooksby.


Working in this role you work as part of the learning support team, supporting learners during lessons and providing cover to LSA's.

Ensure the LSAs are completing their paperwork in a timely manner to a high quality, liaise with curriculum staff to ensure that the role of learner support assistants is integral to the delivery of personalised learning programmes for learners and monitor and review the effectiveness of the deployment of learner support assistants in the delivery of a personalised learning programme for learners.


You should have excellent IT Skills using electronic systems, you will manage the timetable for the campus, ensure accurate student record keeping and relevant information shared on the college IT systems and ensure accurate record keeping.


The role will entail line managing the LSAs on designated campus, including sickness monitoring, appraisals, PDPs, 1 to 1s, performance management, pastoral support and assist with new staff starting in the department.
