We have an exciting opportunity to start a career as a full-time Pump Service Assistant who holds their Class 2 as a minimum to join Anglo Pumps who are a National Pump Service & Maintenance company based in Bedford. The main purpose of this role will involve assisting the Pump Engineering, learning about the trade, resolving mechanical problems, and you will also be involved in the product lifecycle.
This is a PAYE opportunity on a full time permanent basis. We also offer extensive training with an opportunity to obtain certifications through the company, as well as working with a sociable team.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Lead Pump Engineer with all duties
- Report back to office with updates
- Operate one of the company's tankers
- Carry out emergency works and tankering services, adhering to safety protocols for HGV pump service operations.
- Overtime available with an OTE of £40,000 p/a depending on how much you do. This is at time and a half after your core hours, goes to double after midnight and on weekends/bank holidays.
- Training and progression opportunities.

- 23 days holiday + bank holidays.
- Hold a Class 2/Cat C license as a minimum
- A hardworking individual with a willingness to learn.
- Someone who wants to get stuck in and progress within the company.
Anglo Pumps have been in the repair, service and sales of pumps, motors, fan units and associated equipment since 1989.
We undertake complete project managing, station design, equipment selection and programming, including any civil engineering needs. Anglo offer a range of maintenance products to ensure the reliability and operation efficiency of pumping systems and associated equipment.
Our engineers are fully trained with confined space procedures and all relevant health and safety issues and have many years of experience. At our headquarters we have a fully-equipped workshop staffed by experts, offering total in house service to support our maintenance activities. We understand our customers demand a round the clock service 24 hours, 7 days a week 365 days a year. We pride ourselves for offering this service.
