Vision for Education are recruiting for a Teacher of Design Technology for a secondary school based in Lancaster to start Sept 2024.About the roleThe successful candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK and experience of teaching Design Technology at KS3 and KS4 level.

Ideally the school would like a specialist in Resistant Materials, however the school would consider applications of qualified teachers from other Design Technology areas.

This role will start September 2024 and have no set end date.

The schoolThis school in Lancaster is situated outside the city centre and is easily accessible by car and public transport.

The school prides itself with engaging and high level teaching where children can reach their full potential.

RequirementsTo be considered for the Design Technology role you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have some knowledge or previous experience of Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4)
  • Be adaptable and flexible
  • Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of school staffVision for Education is committed to safeguarding children and young people.
