An exciting opportunity as arisen to join our dedicated team on the Eric and Marion Scott Oncology Unit as a Senior Healthcare Assistant


Our state-of-the-art oncology unit opened in 2019 and provides 11 treatment chairs for systemic anticancer therapies and a suite for supportive treatments.

We are a nurse-led service with remote input from Oncologists based at Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in the UK and we are excited to be expanding our team to support current patient needs and service demands.

As a Senior Healthcare Assistant you will be a pivotal member of the team.

You will be trained in Peripheral Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) line care and required to work autonomously undertaking PICC line care clinics for our patients.


You should have excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills to ensure that the service provided is both safe and effective.

The patient experience will be a priority for you with a strong emphasis on compassion and dignity. You will be supported by an experienced and dedicated nursing team.


If you are looking to work in a small dedicated team of oncology healthcare professionals with your own case load of patients, whilst also assisting the nursing team in caring for patients receiving chemotherapy, then this might be the right role for you.
