Holiday Lettings Property Manager

Salary around £28,000 per year, contingent on experience.

Working hours: days per week, with weekends included on a rotational basis

20 days of holiday in addition to bank holidays, prorated for the 6-month contract duration

Overview of the Role:

We are in search of a motivated and meticulous Property Manager to supervise a collection of stunning holiday properties for rental. As the main point of contact for both homeowners and guests, you will be responsible for guaranteeing a seamless and successful holiday experience for everyone involved.

Key Responsibilities for the Holiday Lettings Manager role:

  • Property Management:

- Carry out regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and compliance with safety standards.

- Coordinate and oversee cleaning, upkeep, and repair tasks as necessary.

- Supervise linen and laundry services.

- Handle guest security deposits and address any damage claims.

  • Guest Relations:

- Take charge of all guest queries and bookings through online platforms and telephone.

- Manage reservations, payments, and security deposits based on company protocols.

- Provide pre-arrival details and respond to guest inquiries about the property and surrounding area.

- Deal promptly with guest concerns and complaints, ensuring their contentment throughout their stay.

  • Marketing and Revenue Management:

- Aid in developing captivating property listings and top-notch photos for online platforms.

- Formulate competitive pricing strategies to boost occupancy rates and revenue.

- Monitor and analyze booking patterns to enhance pricing and promotional endeavors.

  • Administrative Tasks:

- Keep accurate property records and oversee inventory management.

- Communicate with homeowners to keep them informed about property performance and guest feedback.

- Adhere to all pertinent holiday rental regulations and licensing stipulations.

Successful Holiday Lettings Property Manager applicants should have:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in property management or a related field (e.g., hospitality).
  • Outstanding organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and issue-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, with familiarity in online booking platforms and property management software being advantageous.
  • A sharp attention to detail and a dedication to maintaining properties at a superior level.
  • Exceptional customer service aptitude, enabling the quick and professional addressing of guest requirements while building rapport.
