- This role is to provide temporary clerical data analysis support to the Product Environmental Function of our client
- Location: Towcester
- Temporary contract (circa 3 months)
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with product bill of material reports (exported to Excel); use Excel filters and formulas to manipulate / standardise / match data sets (formulas will be provided).
- Locating documentation on company database or specialist service provider web site, or component supplier web sites, to obtain required documents / data (various types of data according to specific tasks, such as chemical constituents and material sources, etc.); including filing documents in company database if obtained from outside sources
- Checking for missing data (gap analysis) and auditing data quality against given criteria, highlighting problems / unusual or missing data per given criteria
- Communication regarding missing or problem data with colleagues or others as directed
- Maintain records of Excel workbooks, related data, calculations and communications, etc.
- MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Computer literacy, Excel Workbooks, Word, Keyboard skills.
- Numeracy and attention to detail (accuracy / checking)
- Be adaptable and willing to undertake reasonable clerical duties outside the job description
- Be able to exercise discretion and confidentiality with regard to customer information and the company intellectual property (e.g. product bills of material and product constituent chemicals).
- EXPERIENCE:
- Experience of using Excel, including data input and/or manipulation of data.
- Previous data base user level experience advantageous, but not essential e.g MS Access or a company database
