Source to Pay Lead - Location is flexible, hybrid working


We have recently announced the creation of Pilgrim's Shared Services, a fourth stand-alone company, which will bring together some of the support functions of our current three businesses (Moy Park, excluding France and Netherlands, Pilgrim's UK & Pilgrim's Food Masters).

Its purpose is to deliver a high-quality shared service to those three businesses.


As the business grows, this shared service will broaden opportunities for career development as part of a far larger organisation.

We will also continue our investment in technology to drive efficiencies and improved ways of working.

As part of our growing team, we are recruiting a

Source to Pay Lead role reporting to the

Transactional Services Director.

Purpose of Role:

You will hold overall responsibility and accountability within the Source To Pay (STP) Area for:

  • the organisation and delivery of a high quality and cost-competitive service for transitioned BUs
- o leading high-performing teams for STP-related duties, including the Accounts Payable (AP) team
- o the delivery of service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- o the highest standards of financial control and meeting all compliance requirements, including SOX
- o setting the agenda within the STP team for driving process improvements and digitalisation,
- o working collaboratively with the Continuous Improvement team to secure delivery.


Transition management of transferring AP and other STP services and staff to align with agreed target operating models and ensure continuity of AP services to all business units.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the operations for transitioned activities within the Source To Pay process area
  • Ensure delivery of a high quality, customer focused, and cost competitive service on a daily basis to the wider business in accordance with agreed Service Level Agreements.
  • Ensure all targets and deadlines defined in KPIs and SLAs are met according to BUs' expectation and agreement. Develop and maintain strong process controls to secure the completion of above
  • Lead and manage the STP teamleaders from 'hire to retire', managing performance, providing coaching, guidance and motivation, and developing colleagues to meet their potential.
  • Assign and prioritise workloads within the team to deliver high quality results, to enable development of colleagues and to ensure uninterrupted service in the event of absence and holidays.
  • Ensure a culture of problem identification then resolution, and ensure high standards of housekeeping are maintained (e.g. dealing with aged creditors, aged open POs, GRIR).
  • Based on the scope and forecast, identify any recruitment needs with regards to team size and new, or increased, capabilities, but optimising continuous improvement in processes and systems to minimise future requirements.
  • Ensure that appropriate controls are implemented to reduce the risk of delays and errors, and implement actions to mitigate any impact.
  • Manage the relevant budget costs and ensure spend remains in control, regularly reporting progress.
  • Promote a continuous improvement culture strive to simplify, standardise and improve processes across all Business Units towards quality and productivity improvements.
  • Ensure that all deliverables expected from improvement initiatives or transitions are identified, executed, tracked and signedoff.

What You'll Need

Essential

  • Excellent understanding of Source To Pay processes.
  • Significant experience in a BPO or SSC organization or similar largescale Finance function, including Accounts Payable, with solid experience in managing teams of 20+.
  • Experience of an ERP, ideally SAP.
  • Ability to influence senior management, with good client facing and presentation skills.
  • Change management skills and demonstrable experience implementing new processes, improving the overall STP or AP process
