We are hiring a Room Leader for our client's Nursery in Ascot (SL5).


In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Nursery Practitioners to create a stimulating and nurturing environment for children.

Main duties and responsibilities:

  • Looking after children from 3 months old up to 5 years old
  • Promoting positive relationships with parents, children, and colleagues
  • Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the children
  • Overseeing the smooth running of the Room
  • Leading the staff team to deliver high-quality practice
  • Planning, observation, and record-keeping
  • Introducing new ideas and activities

Essential Skills:

  • A Level 3 or above Childcare qualification or equivalent
  • Passionate and positive attitude towards working with children
  • Solid experience as a Key Worker in an Early Years setting
  • Knowledge of the EYFS framework
  • Punctuality and organizational skills
  • Enhanced DBS check

Desirable Criteria:

  • Recent First Aid Certificate
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection training
  • Room Leader experience (desirable but not essential)
