Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical support to engineers to achieve improvements in cycletime, yield, unit cost, quality, safety and compliance of production and operations processes
  • Monitors instruments and equipment and collects operating data, including calibration, inspection, testing and repair activities, to assist in making online adjustments to instruments, equipment or products
  • Analyzes and resolves malfunctions and deviations of instruments and control systems to identify and resolve problems
  • Conducts analyses and prepares reports using metrics from trending, reporting and rootcause analyses

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work well with their hands and understand the complexities of their area of work
  • Conversant with MS Office software including MS Word and Excel
  • Must respect HSE and work in accordance with Risk Assessments
  • Welding experience
  • Must be able to work effectively within a team
  • Able to problem solve in a safe and pragmatic manner
  • Able to analyse information from detailed engineering drawings
  • Communicates well, both orally and written
  • Task orientated, and well organised
  • Background in manufacturing or engineering environment
  • Experience in offshore working would be an advantage
  • Must have a good understanding of testing regimes with the ability to capture data and present data in a professional manner
