Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso drinks, lattes, cappuccinos, and specialty drinks, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Operate our espresso machine and other equipment with precision and care, ensuring consistent and delicious results with every order.
  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service, engaging with customers, taking orders accurately, and ensuring a positive experience for all patrons.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee cart and surrounding area, including the beer garden seating area, ensuring a tidy and inviting atmosphere for customers.
  • Handle cash and card transactions accurately and efficiently, following our cash handling procedures and maintaining accountability for sales.
  • Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies, and communicate any shortages to management in a timely manner.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up the coffee cart for the day, cleaning equipment, and securing the area at the end of the shift.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of experience working as a barista in a café, coffee shop, or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with customers and coworkers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment and multitask effectively during peak periods.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings, as required by business needs.
