The successful candidate will be responsible for obtaining materials, components and equipment along with evaluating current vendor reliability, and developing new supply sources.
About the RoleTrade Commodity purchasing for Electronics, cable, ceramics and consumable items.Daily and Weekly orderbook management for all responsible lines, highlighting any late deliveriesSupplier delivery on timeRaising of new purchase orders, dealing with pricing enquiries, entering order confirmationReviewing late lines and actioning, informing the relevant plannerManagement of suppliers and orderbook, building excellent supplier relationships.
About YouPrevious Purchasing experienceStrong IT skills including excel, including relevant MRP experience, SAP would be advantageousProactive, strong attention to detailMust be able to prioritise and manage workload in line with demanding business requirements, achieving expedited turnarounds with suppliers when required.
