Purosearch have a fantastic job opportunity to join an exclusive care provider. We have a brilliant contract nursing home manager job. This is a fantastic home development / improvement project. The home provides nursing and dementia care. It is a wonderful home that is surrounded by delightful gardens.
You will turn around a failing home and you will ensure the home adheres to CQC legislation. You will develop staff teams and improve training etc.
This is a hands on role and you will be expected to market, promote, advertise and recruit as well as liaising with relevant governing bodies and local authorities.
You will lead and inspire your team to provide outstanding, truly personalised care to your residents.Candidates ideally should be a nurse - RGN / RMN or have a strong management background and have strong clinical knowledge.
Nursing home manager candidates should have a good track record of obtaining compliant CQC reports.Nursing Home Manager Job Requirements:
- Overall responsibility of the home
- Staff management/ appraisals/ training
- Care plans/ reviews/ meetings
- General management of the nursing areas Skills/ Qualifications:
- Previous managerial experience
- Turnaround management
- RGN/RMN - preferred
- Hands on practical approach
- Sound knowledge of CQC and Care Standards
- Available to start IMMEDIATELY
