Hays are pleased to present a reputable UK law firm, currently seeking a corporate lawyer to join their national corporate team in Belfast.


Your new role
You will join a team known for providing excellent advice with a practical approach

Duties include:

  • Client advisory on corporate matters like mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and restructurings.
  • Drafting and negotiating legal documents including share purchase agreements and shareholder agreements.
  • Conducting due diligence and risk assessments for corporate transactions.
  • Providing legal counsel on corporate governance, compliance, and regulations.
  • Representing clients in negotiations and meetings.
  • Collaborating with other departments like tax and employment for holistic legal advice.

What you'll need to succeed

To be a successful candidate, you should be:* Qualified solicitor (1-5 years PQE) with a strong academic background and post-qualification experience.


  • Experience in corporate law, preferably from a reputable law firm or in-house legal team.
  • Strong skills in drafting, negotiation, and communication.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle complex transactions.
  • Commercial awareness and business acumen.
