Job Title: Senior SAP S/4 HANA Architect with Retail Experience and SAP Project Manager

[Senior SAP S/4 HANA Architect with Retail Experience]

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain the technology strategy for the Finance and Engagement Management domain, translating it into a roadmap to determine investment priorities and transformation portfolio.
  • Promote the use of modern, Cloud-based technologies and challenge the business strategy based on emerging and future technology trends.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud and related applications, including SAP Finance, SAP Concur, SAP Professional Services, SAP Treasury Platform, and SAP Financial Compliance Management.
  • Collaborate with Capability Leads, technical SMEs, and project teams to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Manage and maintain the application inventory for the Finance and Engagement Management domain, including categorization, lifecycle management, and consolidation efforts.
  • Build and maintain the FEM technology roadmap and architecture, ensuring alignment with the overall strategy and coherence with other Capabilities and technology domain roadmaps.
  • Support the selection and implementation of enterprise architecture tools to accelerate and govern technology initiatives.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • 15 years of SAP experience.
  • 5 years of SAP S/4 HANA architecture experience.
  • Prior experience in the RETAIL sector is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in Solution Architecture (or equivalent technology) roles.
  • Good knowledge of EA governance, Agile SDLC methods, and enterprise architecture modelling tools.
  • Strong understanding of project management concepts and common business analysis techniques.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Expert knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud and related applications.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong analytical capability and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Good understanding of technical debt and its remedial actions.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end SAP implementation projects, ensuring alignment with client objectives, scope, and timelines.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and develop project plans.
  • Manage project resources, budgets, and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as needed to ensure timely resolution.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, providing updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions to drive user adoption and ensure project success.
  • Ensure adherence to project management best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP project management roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing SAP implementation projects from initiation to closure.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Deep knowledge of SAP modules, solutions, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Microsoft Project or SAP Solution Manager.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
