This position is located in our fast-paced warehouse at our Hoddesdon depot and is a vital part of the Best Food Logistics team, ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers.

  • Collaborate with team members to consistently achieve and maintain all corporate goals
  • Unload supplier vehicles using voice technology, perform product checks to Company standards, and follow processes aligned with client requirements, including temperature recordings if necessary
  • Handle product reception using a powered pallet truck (PPT), conducting checks, labeling, stacking safely, and wrapping according to procedures to support efficient order assembly
  • Adhere to Health and Safety policies wearing proper safety gear, comply with Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) procedures, and follow fire safety protocols
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety and Hygiene regulations, maintaining cleanliness and safety of the warehouse and site
  • Cooperate with other departments/depots maintaining professionalism, and assist with additional duties as needed
  • Work diligently towards targets with accuracy and methodical approach

Required skills include basic numeracy and literacy, and a collaborative team spirit. Knowledge of Food Hygiene is a plus, but not mandatory. A Reach Truck license is essential, with PPT training provided.
