JOB TITLE: SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure optimal installation integrity, reliability, availability, and maintainability of electrical and control equipment to meet production targets.
  • Coordinate with operations personnel for planned and corrective maintenance of Electrical equipment and the upgrade of redundant equipment.
  • Verify the compliance of switching between LV and HV with operational procedures, safety standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate maintenance of all registers.
  • Plan, integrate, and assess maintenance programs to fulfill statutory and vendor prerequisites, with regular updates and revisions.
  • Maintain detailed records of performance, trends, and failures.
  • Oversee all third-party electrical support activities in accordance with regulations, company policies, and contractual obligations.
  • Ensure maintenance of all electrical equipment in hazardous areas aligns with BS EN standards.
  • Provide necessary Electrical guidance and support to onshore and offshore personnel.
  • Review and provide input on documents from DCC (IDC).

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • Extensive background in electrical maintenance within the Oil and Gas sector.
  • Proven track record of executing Electrical projects in offshore environments.
  • Proficiency in Maintenance Management Systems and Performance Standards.
  • HND or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Membership in a relevant professional engineering institution (IET) is advantageous.
  • Proficient in computer applications and software-based maintenance systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, deadline-oriented, effective communicator, and well-organized.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, team player, with excellent communication skills across all staff levels.
  • Preferably holds offshore survival and medical certifications.
