We are recruiting for a
Workshop Assistant - Electrical & Mechanical to join a bespoke company with an excellent reputation in providing sustainable solutions.

This position would be ideal for an individual who has recently graduated from college and is looking for a first step into an engineering career with training and support provided.


THE ROLE
As a
Workshop Assistant - Electrical & Mechanical you will support the Assembly Technicians team with duties including:

  • Supporting the assembly of electrical wiring in PLC control panels
  • Supporting the assembly of plumbing components
  • Supporting the assembly of mechanical equipment
  • Assisting with monitoring and testing products and equipment
  • Preparing equipment within the production site and performing quality checks
  • Comply with Health & Safety within the workshop

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal
Workshop Assistant - Electrical & Mechanical will be able to possess the following attributes:

  • Electrical Engineering Qualification
  • BTEC level 3 or equivalent
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Word / Excel)
  • Ability to be selfmotivated and work closely within a small team
  • Attention to detail and highly organised
  • Qualifications to use a forklift truck is desirable but not essential
