Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Key Account Manager will drive revenue generation and deliver sales targets agreed, through the management and development of existing and new key customer accounts.

Provision of technical sales support and advice to customers.
Effective management of Trade accounts including quotation creation and follow up, and preparation and delivery of account reviews.

Maintain and develop excellent working relationships with customers and colleagues, working closely with the Customer Service team and segment lead as required.

Maintain proactive customer contact to drive customer tenure and maximise sales potential of each account.
Account Analyst - Support the Sales Manager in finding opportunities to increase sales and margin across all key accounts. Create report and provide data to HOS to increase sales and margin.
Grow the number of Key accounts and hunt potential major accounts for 2023

Required Skills include:

  • Excellent verbal and written skills with ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally at all levels of an organisation
  • Strong negotiation and customer service skills
  • Calm and courteous manner, even under pressure
  • Data collection and analysis skills
  • Competency with Systems: Excel, Outlook and other webbased platforms (smartsheet etc)
  • The ability to understand customers' technical questions and provide a solution
  • Good time management and organisational skills

Main Responsibilities will include:

  • Deliver budgeted sales for customer segment
  • Proactively hunt business opportunities focusing on potential Key Accounts
  • Provide sales support and technical/product guidance to facilitate sales
  • Developing and monitoring clients spend against forecast
  • Preparing and presenting account updates to clients
  • Raising clients' business concerns and needs to the management team
  • Develop and analyse data to determine how to better serve new and existing customers
  • Perform research on accounts to drive sales opportunities
  • Attention to detail, accuracy and upkeep of company documentation
  • Responsible and diligent attitude
  • Timely and effective communication with customers, colleagues and other departments
  • Technical sales support driving customer engagement
  • Excellent customer relationships maintained and developed
  • Sales performance against budget
  • Accuracy of data entry
  • All actions recorded in NetSuite/CRM system
  • Quote conversion
  • Existing and new customer retention
  • New major accounts added to customer portfolio
