Job Description

About the role....

To work closely with the SEO Director to plan, manage and implement effective SEO strategies for one of our clients: Philip Morris International. You will be expected to support the core client relationships and ensure that our team delivers a level of reporting that exceeds client objectives and expectations.

You will be expected to have an excellent understanding of SEO, ranging across technical and content. It's required that you're able to confidently articulate SEO recommendations, interpret reports and data, and above all have an incredible eye for detail.

About the work....

Client Service

  • Lead all client communication related to your workstreams with the support of the SEO director.
  • Ensure that high levels of service are delivered from all SEO team members working on reporting tasks.
  • Ensure all work is delivered to a high quality and professional standard aligned with the agreed timings.
  • Supporting on response to client briefs

Project Management

  • Regular briefings to technical SEO and Content teams to ensure delivery of agreed activity on time and on budget.
  • Planning SEO reporting work to be delivered by Publicis SEO teams outside of the UK, working with Publicis SEO markets in a collaborative fashion.
  • Supporting the development of client targets and ensuring SEO team achieves the KPIs set out at campaign planning stage.

Data Analysis

  • Oversee all SEO reporting produced by your team and act as the final layer of quality control and interpretation of data
  • Oversee and feed into insights that formulate a strategy from analysis and audits using a combination of resources including but not limited to SEO
  • General passion for data analysis and extracting insights from data

Team management

  • Coaching and training of team members as required.
  • Management of 3 direct reports (based abroad) who are in charge of reporting and other day-to-day SEO operations
Qualifications

What you need to succeed....

  • Ability to spot errors and mistakes in complex documents, rapidly and accurately
  • Proven experience of working within a fast-paced agency environment working with enterprise-level clients
  • Confident, comfortable and professional when communicating with clients and third-parties
  • Fully proficient with data and analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Looker Studio, Google BigQuery or other database and cloud storage solutions
  • Basic understanding of how to identify organic search opportunity, set business-relevant KPIs, project organic search performance and estimate expected return-on-investment
  • ·Fully proficient in building Powerpoint presentations to showcase findings and build a narrative
  • Understanding of how to use Search Trends, Demographic and User-behaviour data to reinforce an SEO strategy
  • Ability to establish clear internal briefing and manage projects; distribute the workload appropriately; layout work in well-planned and organised manner; maintains two-way dialogue with others on work and results; brings out the best in people; is a clear and frequent communicator

Highly Desirable

  • Proven demonstrable experience of managing and mentoring direct reports within the digital space
  • Hands on experience of using SEMRUsh, Ahrefs, Lumar and other relevant SEO platforms
  • Demonstrable understanding of programming languages used in data engineering and search such as Python, JavaScript or others
  • Any data analysis certification and or the ability to write simple SQL queries
