Job Description

Given the continuous expansion of our Nuclear Team, we aim to bolster our technical workforce by recruiting a capable Lead Technician.

We are in search of a candidate well-versed in working within regulated and quality-assured environments, preferably within the nuclear sector. The ideal candidate should possess experience in roles requiring practical design judgment and focused mainly on drafting duties.

This period marks an exciting phase for the Nuclear Team, with a stimulating assortment of upcoming projects.

Minimum Requirements

• Proficient in using Revit and at least one of the following drawing platforms: Autocad, Civil 3D, CADS RC, and Tekla, with a readiness to engage with new drawing technologies.
• Skilled in producing drawings in various construction materials with minimal supervision, adhering to nuclear processes and procedures consistently.
• Familiarity with relevant codes and procedures related to drawing preparations, ideally including American detailing standards.
• Experience in leading a drafting team, guiding junior technicians, and verifying drawings within a quality management system.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possession of a full UK driving license or equivalent permitting UK driving.
• Eligibility for security clearance in the UK.

Qualifications

HNC/Higher TEC Diploma or equivalent academic qualifications up to HNC level, including GCSEs in Mathematics, English, and a Science-based subject.
