We have one role available at
30 hours per week, and another part-time - around
16-20 hours per week (Friday & Saturday)

Duties will include:

  • Making & Serving Cocktails, Beers, Wines & Spirits to Customer Request
  • Preparing Syrups, Pre-Batches, Infusions & Garnishes According to Recipe
  • Setting Up & Closing Down the Bar Following Given Procedures
  • Cleaning the Venue to the Highest of Standards
  • Hosting Guests in the Bar as if They Were Guests in Your Home
  • Restocking & Maintaining Inventory, Communicating When Key Items Run Low
  • Processing Payments, Cashing Up & Locking Up Securely
  • Accepting Deliveries, Storing Them Appropriately
  • Giving Effective Handovers to the Rest of the Team, Ensuring the Next Shift are Set For Success

Situated just off the Shore, with three Michelin starred neighbours, Three Marys is Leith's cosiest spot to enjoy a cocktail in style. Loved by locals and guets from further afar, Three Marys' success is down to the hard work of the superstars behind the bar. Therefore it is more important to us that you work well independently, and as part of a small team than know the difference between a caipirina and a caiprioska. Whilst cocktail training is not neccessary, some basic knowledge would be helpful. Bar experience is essential - you will be expected to know how to pour a pint, use a till and chat to punters on your first day
Three Marys is part of a small but growing group of hospitality outlets, all within the Leith area.

As part of the family, you will have opportunites to develop in the industry, with Personal Licence & First Aid courses available for those who express an interest.

We also work with local and international brands to provide product training, brewery & distillery trips and in-house training and incentives for staff.

On-the job training will be given for health & safety, responsible sale & service of alchol and other compliance issues.

Cocktail development and contribution to specials and upcoming menu changes will be welcomed and encouraged, and you will have the opportunity to be cross-trained in our other beautiful venues.
