We are looking for a passionate and inspiring drum tutor to teach children at our Dagenham and Grays centres.

Requirements:

  • You must have mastery of your instrument and be passionate about children's learning.
  • You will support the learners throughout their learning programme, ensuring assessment records are kept uptodate, targets are met and meaningful feedback is provided.
  • You must have the ability to work on your own initiative and have extensive knowledge and related skills.
  • You must have the ability to research, produce and use teaching resources to maintain high standards of learning.
  • It is also essential that you have a desire to develop and use new methods of teaching and learning to engage and motivate your learners.
  • No formal qualification necessary but would be desirable and some prior experience is essential

You must be prepared to:

- deliver teaching and learning that meets the individual needs.
- get children ready for graded exams and others.
- support the learners during the lesson and help them develop basic skills.
- join an enthusiastic and professional team.
- be well supported by our experienced team.


Please be aware that a Disclosure and Baring Scheme (DBS) check and reference check will form part of the recruitment process.

The hourly rate of pay for this position starts from £20.00 and it includes planning time. The lessons are planned to run on Saturdays at both of our centres.
