Join our Rail team as an MPV Driver at Effingham Junction on our Seasonal Treatment team and you can build something to be proud of.

This is a key role within the (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) business unit, delivering key shifts for our customer NWR/SCO by demonstrating safe driving and control of a Multi-Purpose Vehicle (MPV) across the network.

What you'll be doing
As a MPV Driver you will: Have in depth route knowledge of the Wessex area of the country;Work as part of the MPV Seasonal Team to provide a safe and professional service to the customer;Undertake any necessary working and transit shifts;Consistently work to the plan;Undertake training as required to retain and obtain required competency levels to drive and operate MPV's up to safety critical level;Report any problems or safety issues to the Regional Operations Manager and the engineering team;Comply with the provided Safe System of Work;To comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety, Quality & Environmental;Be prepared to work unsociable hours (nights, weekends, bank holidays, Christmas and New Year) and lodge when workload requires;Be adaptable and flexible in approach to workload demand as required by customers workload.
