Teeny Feet Day Nursery in Chatham requires a newly qualified and dedicated Nursery Practitioners with Level 3 in Childcare Qualification to work 3 days a week.


As a member of the nursery staff the post holder will take shared responsibility for the planning, recording, implementation and evaluation of an inclusive early year's curriculum in accordance with EYFS.


Other duties include providing high quality care, planning stimulating activities based on children's individual needs, being a key worker, recording, implementation and evaluation of an inclusive early year's curriculum in accordance with EYFS, tracking / monitoring the children's progress through observation and writing children's progress reports.


Be part of a team, be a good team player and be able to work in partnership with parents, involving and informing them on the progress of their child / children.


You will ensure the children feel safe and secure and provide opportunities for them to learn both indoors and outdoors.


The successful applicants must have previous experience of working in Early Years with excellent knowledge and understanding of the new EYFS Birth - 5 Matters and it's current legislation.


They must also have good written and verbal communication skills as well as an extensive knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding children's legislations.


Commitment to provide a safe, high-quality care and education for children, which meets the needs and interest of the child is essential.

Work experience in a childcare setting is welcomed.

Job Type:
Part-time 3 days per week on on rota basis of 6 -7 hours per day.

(No term time only)
