Job Overview


The Apprentice Helpdesk Co-Ordinator will assist the Helpdesk Co-Ordinators to efficiently manage the overall daily activity of the engineering team as the tasks come through.

Using software, you will assist with the allocation of jobs to the onsite engineering team
and specialist suppliers.

Main Duties

  • To assist with the scheduling of reactive and planned works to the engineering team, paying attention to expertise and response targets.
  • To accurately record all job related information on the appropriate IT systems.
  • Ensure all jobs marked as incomplete by engineers are followed up and reallocated as appropriate.
  • Arrange supplier attendances where required, raising appropriate Purchase Orders and submitting the appropriate access permits
  • Deal with communications in a professional and prompt manner.
  • Escalate issues with specific jobs, the customer or engineers promptly to your line manager.
  • Ensure full audit trails are maintained and evidenced where required.
  • Follow Group and company policies and procedures, at all times.
  • Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
  • Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.
