Blue Recruitment Personnel are currently recruiting for
Van Drivers to work for a well-established company in
Purfleet.


In this role, you will be working most of the time alone with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.


The role involves driving
3.5 Tonne Vans to complete the customer light deliveries to various sites, private addresses and new developments.


Duties:

Following health and safety guidelines
Daily vehicle safety checks
Compliance with legislation - drivers hours, highway regulations
Checking vehicle loads are secure
Delivering builders materials and other light products to the local areas
Provide customers with the highest level of service
Reporting of any defects of the vehicle immediately to the management team
Liaising with the trade sales team/transport supervisor with regards to shortages or customer queries

Requirements:

Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
Previous work experience completing deliveries
Excellent organisational skills ( the ability to organise your time and workload )
Good communications skills and attention to detail
Reliability and flexibility
Self-motivated
No major traffic offences - No DR, DD or NI codes accepted

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday

Start times from 06:00

8-10 hours shift guaranteed

PPE Required:

Hard Hat with a chin strap
Safety Boots
Hi-Vis Vest
