Please note that this is a temporary role from April/May until September

About the role of a Nurse

  • Provide a high standard of direct nursing and holistic care to service users, based on the assessment of care needs
  • Develop the therapeutic relationship with service users in order to assess care needs, plan and implement and review care plans and nursing interventions
  • Continuously evaluate the quality of care given, and regularly reassess the needs of service users
  • Provide medication reviews, ensuring all documentation is up to date and information is acted upon
  • Order medications in appropriate time scales to ensure the service is not short of the necessary medication
  • Administer medication and ensure all documentation is accurate for each service user
  • Maintain cleanliness of treatment rooms and clinical areas
  • Play an active role in MDT meetings and work in collaboration with a wide ranging team of professionals.
  • Work within the NMC codes of conduct and Scope of Practice and within the home's policies and procedures

Sponsorship

We do offer sponsorship, but not financial support for OSCEs or relocation.

What you need

  • To be a qualified & registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD)

Shifts

  • Shift are 12 hours long (8am - 8pm and 8pm - 8am).
  • Sessional/Bank

Rate of Pay

  • £19.17 per hour for Day shift and £19.44 per hour for Nights and Weekends
  • Newly qualified nurses: £14.35 per hour for first year of qualification

Experience

  • Registered Nurse: 1 year (Preferred)
