Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our team in the dynamic and colourful Notting Hill neighbourhood.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about sales and customer service in the gourmet food industry.

We are looking for someone who is available Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays (some flexibility is offered).

Duties:

  • Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide assistance
  • Assist in the sales process by upselling products or services
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, merchandising and stock replenishment

Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English
  • Barista skills are a plus but basic training is available
  • Strong upselling abilities to maximize sales opportunities
  • Basic math skills to accurately process payments and provide pricing information
  • A passion for great food and culinary insights are a plus
  • Attention to detail
  • Experience in retail, hospitality and/or food products sector is a must
