Packing Operative - Afters


Flavours Foods is a food manufacturing business providing the food to go, wholesale and catering markets with high quality chilled products such as sandwich fillers, salads, marinated meats & hummus.


As a Packing Operative you will be expected to pack finished product from mixing baths to the pots of 1kg / 2 kg or 10kg buckets.


The business continues to grow therefore the company is looking for a person who would be enthusiastic, self motivated and a good team worker to ensure that product safety and quality is not compromised, as well as the right quantities are produced on the daily basis.


Day to day duties:

  • Packing finished product into different size pots & buckets
  • Ensuring product safety & quality is kept up to the standard
  • Product temperature monitoring & oxygen levels in the vacuum packs
  • General Housekeeping
  • Finished Product Labelling, completion of packing paperwork
  • Cleaning of equipment & machinery to the highest standard, 'Clean as you go' policy followed
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures
  • Following Health & Safety rules

About You:

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing business would be an advantage
  • Enthusiastic & Self motivated
  • Good attitude and willingness to learn
  • Good communication, team working skills
