Welcome to Starting Point Recruitment We are currently looking for a skilled Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to join our client's team located in Manchester area.

Salary: Competitive salary, based on experience.

Job Overview: As a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating detailed designs of fire protection systems across various sectors such as commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and industrial settings.

  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and project teams to gather design requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections to assess conditions and feasibility.
  • Design fire sprinkler systems following codes and regulations.
  • Create detailed drawings, 3D models, and material specifications.
  • Coordinate with installation teams for proper implementation.
  • Perform tests and inspections to ensure system functionality.
  • Provide technical support to project managers and field personnel.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Hands-on experience in the field.
  • Experience with 3D design is a plus.
  • Degree or HND in a relevant discipline.
  • LPCB Basic design qualification required.
  • LPCB Intermediate and FHC design certifications are advantageous.
  • Familiarity with LPC sprinkler rules and knowledge of FM & NFPA standards is a plus.
  • Minimum of five years' experience in fire sprinkler system design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Canute FHC design software.
